Priceless Moment: Soup Kitchen

I love chain emails. I have no idea how long this picture has been out there, but it's nevertheless hilarious, poignant and sad all at the same time.

Cost of a bowl of soup at the homeless shelter: $0.00

Having Michelle Obama serve you your soup: $0.00

Snapping a picture of a homeless person who is receiving a government funded meal while taking of picture of the First Lady using his $500 Blackberry: Priceless

  1. This reminds me of a time when Ben & I were at the Jewel on Roosevelt, in line behind these two people who bought like $200 worth of groceries with a Link card. When we finished buying our stuff and walked out into the parking lot, there they were getting into their brand new Lexus.

  2. How ignornat are you people? Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen? Have you ever needed to eat at one? Judgemental hypocrits! You need a whack with a clue club because clearly you ar clueless!

Did you notice it is NOT an expensive "Blackberry"? NO - because you were just trying to be ignorant and salacious! Did you wonder how he got there? Why he was there? How you could help? Why Mrs. Obama was there? Who took the picture? No because you are IDIOTS! Clueless tacky ignorant under educated bigots - SHAMEFULL! SHAME SHAME SHAME on YOU!

  3. I have volunteered at a soup kitchen in the past, yes. While I have never had to eat at one, I come from a family that spent time on welfare on several different occasions, in low-income housing and on WIC.

However, Chris, apparently unlike yourself, I managed to develop a sense of humor along the way.

This is what is known as sarcasm, and if you're unable to comprehend that, there is no hope for you.
